SUMMARY:Celtic Service at St. John’s\, Worthington
DESCRIPTION:On October 5\, the Celtic Service will begin its thirteenth year with its traditional October celebration of all creatures great and small in honor of St. Francis. \nThe Celtic service is a quiet\, meditative service with music\, prayers of concern with the lighting of candles\, a time of silence\, and affirmations of faith based on the liturgy of the Iona Abbey Worship Book. The service is 40 – 45 minutes long and is followed by a time of fellowship and hospitality. Please come and celebrate God’s creatures with us on October 5th. \nLike in previous years\, we would like to ask you to donate some spare change to purchase cat and dog food for the Worthington Food Pantry. They are always delighted to have food for the pets of their clients on hand.
