The St. Andrew’s choir always has an open chair for you!
- Singing in the choir is a wonderful way to share your gift of time and talent as well as enhance the music ministry of our worship services.
- The choir rehearses every Wednesday evening from 7P to 8P and every Sunday at 9:15 AM.
- We sing a variety of styles of music and much of our music is not too difficult. The choir is always open for you to participate as much or little as you can.
- We will continue to have our seasonal, Flash Choir, Pick up Choir and special event opportunities throughout the year.
- If you have ever considered singing in the choir then I would invite you to give prayerful consideration in joining us this year!Choir Myth Buster #1:
“I will have to sit with the choir during worship”
– No. If you prefer to sit in the congregation and just join the choir during the anthem that is OK!
Choir Myth Buster #2:
“I can’t be in the choir because I cannot always be at the Wednesday practice”
– That’s OK! We always work ahead and warm up on Sunday mornings. If you have to miss on a Wednesday practice, you will still know the music.
Choir Myth Buster #3:
“My voice is not good enough to be in the choir”
– Wrong! We all work together to sing our best for the Glory of the Lord…No one is not good enough!
